By default, your account is set up to share the information that we have found the vast majority of our users are interested in sharing. However, the amount and type of information you decide to share, and with whom you share it, is up to you.

    In order to become a member of, you must provide us the following information to create an account:

    • Your full name;
    • Your practice name;
    • Your email address; and
    • Your clubCEREC branch number.

    We strongly encourage you to provide an email address actively used by you, such as the email address associated with your practice or business.

  2. Provision of Username and Password

    Though we pre-assign to you a temporary username and password, you should change both upon accessing We strongly encourage you to choose a password that only you know and that would be extremely difficult for others to guess (such as using combinations of letters, numbers and special characters).     On, we assign users to their local group site (for example, a San Diego user is assigned to the "sdcerec" group). These groups are primarily used for communication for CEREC study club purposes and the exchange of information between the members. also has proprietary groups (for example, the CEREC trainer group) which is a closed environment and only CEREC instructors may be part of this group for the sole purpose of exchanging information that will help improve the CEREC education process for members. In all cases, CEREC Specialists moderate groups.

However, we may retain certain information contributed by you if we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as analysis of aggregated, non-personally identifiable data, account recovery, or as required by law.

    We may also retain and use your information if necessary to provide to other users. For example, just as an email you may send to another person through an email service provider resides in that person's inbox even after you delete it from your sent files or close your account, messages you send on to other users, as well as your contributions to various groups, may remain visible to others after you have closed your account.
